Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress, producer, playwright and teacher in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain and her mother, an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. As a young girl, she appeared in commercials of various kinds. Anna moved in Toronto for her acting to improve. The actress later was able to move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism.
