Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Zoe was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Her birthplace was in Passaic, New Jersey to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her parents raised their daughter at home in Queens, New York. When she was 10 years young the family relocated towards the Dominican Republic, where they would live for the next seven years.
