Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist as well as a businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington, an independent liberal news website, is a television personality as well as a writer and philanthropist. Born in Greece and moved to England when she was sixteen. At Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA at the level of economics. Being the first non-English-speaking student to graduate, she was voted president of The Cambridge Union' at age 21. She joined the conservative syndicated writer after graduation and, when The Huffington Post launched a few years following, she launched an online voice platform that offered criticisms on political scenarios. Her popularity helped to attract several well-known contributors to share their views on politics, news and the arts. Arianna gained notoriety in 2003, when she ran as an independent candidate in a recall vote in California to succeed the governor at the time, Davis. Alongside this she was the leader of the Detroit Project to develop fuel efficient cars. Forbes listed her as the 12th-highest ranked woman within the field of media in 2009 and Guardian also included her on the top 100 list of media in that same year. AOL Inc. acquired The Huffington Post in 2011 and named her head of its media division and also owned the other AOL brands like Engadget AOL Music Style list as well as Patch Media. Elli was the youngest daughter of Konstantinos the journalist who also works as a management consultant. While she was closely associated with her father, it was the relationship she shared with her mother that formed her character. While in her formative time, she showed abilities to lead, and for this she is still well-known. at the age of 16 she emigrated to the United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. When she was in the college years, she joined the debating group Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign and third female president. In 1972, she graduated with the degree of Master's in Economics. Following after graduation she became a TV host and columnist. The appearance she made in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also notable. She began writing books, taking his help in editing.
