Liz Vassey began her acting profession when she was just nine years old and has since appeared in over fifty musicals and plays. When she was sixteen, she made the move from New Jersey to New York in order to become a part of the cast of All My Children. Her role on the show was the reason she received her first Daytime Emmy nomination. Since then Liz has appeared in the form of a regular actor on twelve television shows. These include ER Maximum Bob Necessary Roughness, Brotherly Love the Push Nevada Two and a Half Men FOX's live action adaptation from The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. She is most likely best known for her run of five years as the DNA technology Wendy Simms of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Liz was also a part of a variety of film, pilots, and TV shows. Liz's acting career extends beyond in acting but also as a writer. Liz co-wrote an episode of the final season of CSI and she's sold six television movies and pilots which are now under development with NBC Freeform Universal Netflix The CW along with other networks and studios. Liz is an avid runner who has recently debuted as filmmaker in The Human Race, the latest documentary. This film is a documentary that focuses on runners older than 50 years old. Liz Emmerichs is a resident of Hollywood together with David Emmerichs their combined brood of pets and their combined brood of children. On television and film Swallow has appeared at the other end of the law, playing detective on Ringer a detective's wife on Southland and a bounty hunter in the CBS Pilot The Odds a bank robber on Medium as well as a flag-waving hooker for the RV in The Lucky Ones. Also, she played a Mermaid on Flight of the Conchords as an actor in the film of her own The Rift.
