Kelly Clarkson is an American musician and singer who was the country's love interest following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. This win did more than propel her into the limelight however, it also secured the singer a multi-album contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since, she's made several studio albums, including three which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely missed the coveted spot. She has been one of the most popular performers on American Idol. When she was successful, she tried out different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line with her personal feelings. As a result of her distinctiveness and talent as a performer, she was praised by critics and won a few important awards. Most notably she has won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical career, she has been featured in movies as well as television programs. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
