Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. Also, she is an actress. In addition to being a beautiful and intelligent actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role model for numerous Asian actors in Hollywood who wish to make it big. Following a string of early performances in popular shows her fame was boosted by joining the team of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. The fame she gained from the show was translated into film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Shii. At the same time she appeared in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as voice actor for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen parts, did not achieve any success.
